Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole with Tater Tots

- 4 cups cooked chicken diced or shredded
- 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded (divided)
- 1 (10.5-ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup cooked bacon chopped (divided)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 (1 ounce) packet ranch seasoning mix (dry mix only, do not prepare)
- 1 (32-ounce) bag tater tots
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix the chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, ranch seasoning, 1 cup of the shredded cheese, and half of the bacon until well combined.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese evenly over the chicken mixture.
- Arrange the tater tots in a single layer over the cheese.
- Sprinkle the remaining bacon over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly and the tater tots are golden brown.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
